Infra Structure

The College of Nursing occupies 3 acres of land with a spacious building surrounded by sweeping lawns on the main Ferozepur–Ludhiana Road, Mullanpur. Large gardens with green surroundings form an integral part of the college campus.

Classrooms

The College has well-ventilated classrooms equipped with all necessary facilities. To enhance academic activities such as lectures, seminars, and presentations, the institute provides a comprehensive audio visual setup that includes a TV, DVD player, OHP with white screens, slide projector, sound system, models, and charts for the use of both faculty and staff.

Laboratories

Teaching methodology has been designed to inculcate conceptual and technical skills in students and is based on lectures, demonstrations, seminars, group discussions, practical training on patients etc. Efforts have been made to impart education and training through a methodology consisting of:-

Nursing Foundation Laboratory

Nursing foundation lab is equipped with ten beds including all sophisticated equipment’s and advanced manikins, simulators and interactive models like CPR manikins, Surgical & Medical Instruments, Human Torso Manikin for gaining skills. The students gain experience and confidence by handling and performing procedures on manikins.

Preclinical Lab

It has plenty of static and working models, specimens, posters and charts. The usage of anatomy lab by the students is encouraged as a tool to improve group learning. Understand human anatomy through hands-on anatomical studies. It consists of latest technology microscopes in the required quantity different solutions used in preparing slides like methylene blue, ZN stain etc. It has plenty of static and working models, specimens, posters and charts.

MCH Lab

Learn essential skills for maternal and women's health care and Focus on child health and pediatric care techniques. The lab is equipped with various instruments that are used for normal delivery, forceps delivery, and caesarean section and examination. All nursing care skills of newborns, infants and children are demonstrated.

Community Health Nursing Lab

Prepare for public health nursing and community outreach. It has fuel connection, storage space, and refrigerator, hand washing sinks with traditional cookware and worktables for hands on practice.

Nutrition Lab

Nutrition laboratory is one part of laboratory that is equipped with all the supplies available in the kitchen required for cooking like stove, cylinder, utensils for the purpose of planning menu, practicing cooking various therapeutic diet.

Computer Lab

Explore cutting-edge technology to enhance learning and healthcare innovation. Wi-Fi is available in the College for students and teachers. 20 computers are exclusively for students in addition to computers and laptops for the faculty.

Audio Visual Laboratory

The Audio Visual Laboratory is equipped with high-tech educational media to support the teaching/learning activities of the nursing students. The collection in this regard includes televisiosn, overhead projectors, slide projectors, audio/visual equipment’s, CD players, public address systems, digital cameras, etc.

Library

A spacious and well-ventilated library is available. More than 4000 books are available with along with National and International journals. College has subscription of 10 National Journals and 8 International Journals. The newspapers available in the library are The Tribune, Ajit Punjabi, Ajit Hindi, Punjab Kesari and Jagbani. The library computers also have internet facility.
