While the Foundation of health care was started during the ancient period but its rapid development took place during the 19th century. To Augment the Education atmosphere G.H.G. Medical Education Society started S.M.L. Memorial. School of Nursing in the year 2005 with GNM Course and 2009 with ANM Course aims to fulfill the deficiency of highly competent professional and employment oriented education in various aspects of Nursing Sciences & Research. With sincere & Progressive efforts society in year 2013 upgraded the school of Nursing to College of Nursing & got recognition from Govt of Punjab. & Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Indian Nursing Council the supreme body in Nursing Education approved all the programme's of Nursing Education offered by the College. The G.H.G. Medical Education Society is committed to produce world class Nursing Professional by providing education through highly qualified & competent faculty. The G.H.G. Medical Education Society is constantly on the lookout for new avenues to channelize its energy and resources addressing newer needs and aspirations of the society and in service of humanity.
